If you enjoy knitting and enjoy putting together nice little gift baskets, then this is the project for you. This is also a great idea for beginner knitters.
Knitting dishcloths whether simple of complex are one of the greatest gifts you can give. Doesn’t everyone love handmade items? Most people do. Believe me, I have run into folks who don’t, but those are few and far between.
These dishcloths were made by Ari over at Strings and Sealing Wax back several years ago, but they still work! She gives the link to the dishcloth on the right, which is called a Granny’s Favorite. The one on the left is her own pattern which she has for free here. I think it’s a cool pattern which I plan on trying. I always try to give dishcloths at Christmas, you can put them in a neat basket with some soap or other kitchen or bath knick knacks and you’ve got a great little present.
LMK if you make either one of these. I have used Granny’s Favorite not just for dishcloths, but for blankets too. It’s fun to switch it up! TTFN!
